I Became The Coach I Wish I Had
When I was a teenager chasing my own basketball dreams, I had no clue how important strength training really was. Nobody told me how to build explosive power, how to prevent injuries, or how to train in a way that actually translated to the court.
I thought the answer was just “play more games” and “work harder.” But no matter how many hours I spent in the gym, I kept getting outmuscled, outjumped, and overlooked. Looking back, I wasn’t lacking talent — I was lacking the right blueprint.
That’s why I became the coach I wish I had when I was younger.
For the past 10 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping athletes train smarter. I’ve worked with hundreds of basketball players — from undersized guards to injury-prone forwards — and I’ve seen the same transformation again and again:
The truth is, basketball skill alone isn’t enough. At the scholarship level, every kid can dribble, shoot, and pass. What separates the ones who get recruited is how strong, fast, and durable they are.
That’s why I created The Recruitment-Ready Strength Blueprint — so parents like you don’t have to watch your teen make the same mistakes I did.
